Jamie has been teaching at the North London Music Centre for some years now. He takes a very calm and laid back approach in teaching the guitar. An active performer of Jazz, Rock and Pop, Jamie can help students advance their guitar playing with studies of different genres of music. Jamie has a degree in Jazz which he obtained from Middlesex University.

Joseph teaches a variety of styles including Rock, Pop, Metal, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, and Country. He teaches guitar and ukulele, theory and composition; and also teaches RockSchool, ABRSM, Trinity and RGT Syllabuses.
He offers a structured but personalised music experience, using a wide range of teaching approaches and a variety of resources, incorporating a visual, aural and practical element into his teaching so the learning is accessible to all students. He is currently working on a collaborative and solo project and performs throughout London. He has an extensive performance history and has supported many local charity events.
Joseph is a graduate of The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance with a BMus (Hons) in Popular Music Performance. Whilst studying music, Joseph completed a Rockschool Licentiate (Level 6) in Music Teaching. He has also gained a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

Originally from Austria, Dan has taught guitar in many local schools working for Haringey Music Service as well as the North London Music Centre. A very solid, all round guitar teacher, Dan leaves no stone upturned when it comes to his students’ developments. He prepares lessons with a strong attention to detail and each individual student’s needs.
Dan takes techniques such as playing scales and turns it into something that the student can relate to and use in their own music. He enjoys making theory and composition fun, and demonstrating the importance of theory to each student.
Dan teaches at the North London Music Centre on Thursdays.

Nick has been a professional musician and teacher for over 12 years.
After earning a diploma at Appalachian State University (North Carolina, USA) majoring in “”Music Industry””, “”Jazz Guitar Performance”” and “”Composition””, he started teaching music. Soon after, he published two volume handbook for contemporary guitar learning “”The Book of Guitar””, which inspired him to continue with his education.
Nick says: “I enjoy teaching music because by passing knowledge I believe I am making a difference in shaping the future.”

Paula Thompson is a session singer, vocal arranger and choral director and has been working in the music industry for over 23yrs.
As a session musician, Paula has worked with various artists and bands including Bastille, Dodge, Beverly Knight and Mica Paris. She plays the piano and percussion as well as singing in a variety of genres.
Paula enjoys working with the local community and runs choirs for both children and adults, as well as singing workshops and corporate team building events in and around London. Her musical influences include jazz, soul and contemporary Gospel music. Paula is passionate about music education and an advocate of the many benefits singing has on a person’s life. - Gozde AltanGozde AltanPiano, Vocals
Gozde is a professional musician, and has been teaching vocals and piano for over 11 years. She was a professional opera singer in Istanbul for 4 years, and graduated from the State Conservatory For Opera and Performing Arts.
She prepares her students for exams and stage performances, covering ABRSM, London College of Music, Trinity and Rockschool. Gozde enjoys a varied range of musical styles, but especially Classical, Rock and Metal! Her primary focus in lessons is always to have fun!

Hoyee graduated from London College of Music and has been a piano teacher for many years. She mainly teaches ABRSM and Trinity exam grades. She has the following qualifications:

Hoyee hopes to positively influence her students to enjoy playing the piano and to help them successfully achieve their goals.

Jaiden studied music at the University of York, graduating with first class honours and later completed an MA (masters) in music production. Whilst at universityy he played and composed music with various groups including Quatuor Diotima and the Chimera Ensemble.
"I believe music is a joy and learning to play should be too. As a teacher, my aim is to develop students into well-rounded musicians; with solid technique, good musical understanding, and who enjoy playing. I teach classical and modern repertoire. I place a big focus on creativity and teach keyboard skills which underpin composition and improvisation. I also prepare students for ABRSM practical piano exams, and theory exams (up to grade 5)."

She has worked as a Primary and Secondary school music teacher in a reputed Catholic school in Sri-Lanka, and is a registered teacher with both Trinity College and ABRSM London.As a teacher, Meadha takes special care to tailor lessons to each students' individual needs and goals, so they can develop as complete, versatile musicians which can help them to to build up self esteem and self discipline. Rob is one of our most experienced teachers having taught drums at the NLMC for 14 years. Over that time, he has taken many of our students from Grade 1 to 8. He studied music at Trinity College of Music, London and then at Middlesex University; where he obtained a BA Music degree in Jazz Studies. As a freelance musician Rob has performed at festivals across Europe; such as the London Hyde Park Calling, the Electric Picnic Festival in Dublin, and the Seixial Jazz Festival in Portugal, most notably with Australian folk duo "Angus and Julia Stone".

Warren is no stranger to the music industry; He is a professional drummer of many years, having had live experience from the age of 7.
As educator/performer, Warren has been featured on Modern Drummer Magazine, Metal Hammer, Rhythm Magazine, Kerrang and many others. Warren has also played in the Westend for the smash-hit musicals, Mamma Mia & The Bodyguard.During his career; He has performed with a diverse range of cabaret acts and he enjoys playing different genre's of music ranging from 1920's Big band music, all the way to modern day Pop, World, Jazz, EDM and Metal, with the added ability to compose, engineer and sing backing vocals.
When not gigging, recording or touring, Warren enjoys teaching privately and loves recording drum covers for his YouTube channel.
